Connect, Engage, Inspire

Radio in Schools

We can set your school up with an online radio station. We can do some or all of the following depending on your current needs:

•train your staff and students

•help you to develop links within your curriculum

•set up your studio, IT hardware/software, website and archiving

•support you technically and pedagogically as you begin

•run radio Arts Award or other ongoing workshops to train students (possibly 6th formers)

•run live outside broadcasts for you from events

•run specialist radio Insets or activities with students

A radio station can help your school to:

•embrace student voice and agency within your school

•develop speaking and listening skills in meaningful way

•engage hard to reach learners

•create opportunities for creative approaches to literacy

•develop digital literacy learning opportunities including social media

•reach out to your community of young people, parents, local businesses and community organisations

•develop interactions between home and school around students’ learning and progress

•collect evidence of student progress

•record and archive events and activities at your school

Please contact us for a quote and how we can involve training to build up the station at your school.
